The Alaska Training/Technical Assistance Center (ATTAC) is offering a 1 Credit, four day course (Drinking Water Microbiology Lab Analyst's Workshop) covering basic microbiology laboratory skills and media preparation with a focus on analytical procedures for potable water, surface/source water and pool & spa water. The date of the next class is pending; the class is generally taught in Anchorage, AK at the Rose Tanaka Training Facility in the Public Health Laboratory.
In addition, ATTAC is offering a 1 Credit web-based Lab Supervisors Course designed as a sequel to the 4-day Lab Analysts Workshop and is intended specifically for supervisors of certified drinking water laboratories. The course will cover the supervision and management aspects of a certified laboratory. The web-based on-line course is offered the week after the analyst’s workshop.
