Pesticide Product Alerts & Recalls
Beginning June 4, 2011 there are new federal requirements for household rodenticides:
- Must be block or paste. Pellets and other small pieces that can be accidentally scattered are no longer allowed.
- Must be one pound or less in size.
- May not contain second generation anticoagulants (brodifacoum, bomadiolone, difenacoum, and difethialone).
Store may no longer sell products that do not meet these requirements - they must contact the manufacturer about returning the product. For more information, see EPA's Rodenticides page.
