Description
The site houses ADOT/PF facilities including Main Office, Materials Laboratory, Technical Services, Maintenance & Operations, and State Equipment Fleet Maintenance.

Public Health and Environmental Concerns
Chlorinated solvents and petroleum products have contaminated the soil and ground water. The chlorinated solvent ground water plume extends off-site to the northwest.

Current Status
The delineation of the off-site ground water plume has been completed. Additional on site investigations and evaluation of remediation options will be completed in the future. The plume is fully characterized and the residential wells are all below cleanup levels, but the state will continue to monitor the groundwater to determine the rate of natural degradation of the contamination. Cleanup is contingent on available state funds.
