Updates: November 12, 2004

• 10 new sites for the Prince William Sound Northeast Subzone have been selected for GRS development. They are in draft form for review by workgroup members. They are as follow:

• The Southeastern Cook Inlet page has been revised to include updated draft plans for the subsections of the Cook Inlet GRS.

Updates: September 27, 2004

• The Seward Zone GRS page has been updated with two new maps and map pdfs.
• The final Cook Inlet Seward Zone GRS documents have become sub-sections of the Cook Inlet GRS. These documents are now finalized and are available for download. They can be found on the Seward Zone GRS page.
  

Updates: June 18, 2004

• A draft workplan has been developed and a pdf version of the Aleutians Subarea Geographic Response Strategy (GRS) Development Initiative can be downloaded from the AI workgroup page.
• Site selection matrix and site selection key pdf files have been added to the PWS POR homepage.
• The PWS Places of Refuge Workgroup page has been updated to include the agenda and meeting handouts for the June 23rd meeting.
• The Bristol Bay homepage has been updated with a new map and map pdf.
• The North West Arctic homepage has also been updated with a new map and map pdf.
• The North Slope Arctic homepage has also been updated with a new map and map pdf.
• The Western Alaska homepage has also been updated with a new map and map pdf.

Updates: June 7, 2004

• New links for new pages for Bristol Bay, North Slope , Western Alaska, and Northwest Arctic Subareas
• The Northern Cook Inlet GRS sites have been accepted by the workgroup and are complete. They are now under consideration for acceptance by the Subarea Committee.
• The Aleutians subarea page has been updated with new and edited information on the maps and tables and site selection matrices. And the workgroup list has been updated with additional information on the workgroup page.
• The Southeastern Cook Inlet page has updates for the site selection matrix and index maps as well as for the workgroup list and additions to the workgroup page.
  
  

Updates: April 12, 2004

• Five new zone pages have been added to the Aleutians Subarea portion of the site: East A, East B, West A, West B and Pribilof Islands.
  
• A new workgroup page has been added to the Aleutians Subarea portion of the site. And a meeting announcement for the meeting on May 7, 2005, Memorandum of Agreement and a meeting summary have been added to that page.
  
• The master list file of members of the Aleutians Subarea GRS Workgroup on the Aleutians Subarea Workgroup page has been updated.
  
• The risk map for the Aleutians Subarea portion of the site has been updated. In addition, there are two new risk maps available in an enlarged version for the East A Zone and East B Zone.
  
• A meeting agenda for the meeting on May 5, 2004 has been added to the SECI GRS Workgroup Meeting announcement on the Southeastern Cook Inlet Workgroup page.
  
• The Prince William Sound and Southwestern Cook Inlet GRS are now approved by the workgroups and waiting to be adopted into the Subarea Contingency Plan.
  Two new pages, for the Aleutians Island Subarea and the Kodiak Subarea, have been added to the Alaska GRS website.

Updates: March 15, 2004

• Two new zone pages have been added to the Cook Inlet Subarea portion of the site: Central Cook Inlet and Kachemak Bay.
• Sixteen sites in the Southeastern Cook Inlet Zone of the Cook Inlet Subarea have been selected for initial GRS development. They are listed and indicated on a new map on the Southeastern Cook Inlet Zone homepage. The site selection matrix has been revised and the public comment period closing date of April 16, 2004 has been posted on that page as well.
• The master list file of members of the Southeastern Cook Inlet GRS Workgroup on the Southeastern Cook Inlet Workgroup page has been updated.
• A meeting summary has been added to the February 24, 2004 SECI GRS Workgroup Meeting announcement on the Southeastern Cook Inlet Workgroup page.

Updates: February 23, 2004

• The Prince William Sound and Southwestern Cook Inlet GRS were open for review until February 15, 2004 by the workgroup. At this time, all comments received have been summarized and forwarded to the co-chairs for their consideration. Watch our web sites for further notice.
• Contact email for the entire GRS site has changed from AKGRS@comcast.net to mark@nukaresearch.com. All site pages have been updated but please correct your address books if you have this address recorded.
• The site selection matrix has been updated on the Northern Cook Inlet homepage.
• All 17 draft GRS on the Northern Cook Inlet homepage have been updated and are available for download in pdf format.
• An agenda and meeting summary have been added to the Feb. 3, 2004 Northern Cook Inlet Work Group meeting announcement on the Northern Cook Inlet Work Group page.
• The master list file of members of the Northern Cook Inlet GRS Workgroup on the Northern Cook Inlet Workgroup page has been updated.
• The master list file of members of the Southeastern Cook Inlet GRS Workgroup on the Southeastern Cook Inlet Workgroup page has been updated.
• The Minerals Management Service, Alaska OCS Region has been added to the list of primary project participants on the Southwestern Cook Inlet pages.
• The master list file of members of the Southwestern Cook Inlet GRS Workgroup on the Southwestern Cook Inlet Workgroup page has been updated.
• The site selection matrix has been updated on the Prince William Sound homepage.
• Four draft GRS for Prince William Sound have been updated on the Prince William Sound homepage: PWS SW-10 Bay of Isles, PWS SW-12 Stockdale Harbor, PWS SW-13 McCleod Harbor, and PWS SW-14 Point Elrington.
• The master list file of members of the GRS Workgroup on the Prince William Sound Workgroup page has been updated.

Updates: January 28, 2004

• The main url for the GRS homepage and all other pages throughout the site has changed. Links throughout the site have been modified to reflect the change, but any bookmarks (favorites) recorded using the old url will need to be updated. The change is that where previously the urls have been based on http://www.state.ak.us/dec/spar/perp/grs/... they are now all http://www.state.ak.us/dec/spar/perp/grs/...

• Fifteen updated downloadable draft GRS files for sites NCI-03 through NCI-17 have been added to the Northern Cook Inlet homepage.
• A preliminary Feb. 2004 Northern Cook Inlet Work Group meeting announcement has been added to Northern Cook Inlet Work Group page.
• The webpage map and downloadable map for printing have been updated on the Southwestern Cook Inlet homepage.
• Draft GRS files for sites SW-01 through SW-17 have been updated and a new site, SW-18, has been added to the Southwestern Cook Inlet homepage.
• Finalized GRS files for sites PWS NW-03, PWS SE-03, PWS SE-06 have been updated on the Prince William Sound homepage.
• All fourteen draft GRS files have been updated and a new draft file (PWS NW-07) has been added to the Prince William Sound homepage.
• The following misspellings have been corrected throughout the Prince William Sound pages: PWS SE-07 Makaka Creek (was Makarka), PWS NW-10 Fairmount Island (was Fairmont), and PWS SW-10 Bay of Isles (was Bay of Isle). Downloadable file names have been updated as well.
• Updated index maps for download and printing are available on the Prince William Sound Northwest Zone, Southeast Zone, and Southwest Zone pages.
• The site list for the Prince William Sound Southwest Zone page has been updated to change PWS SW-09 Eshamy Lagoon (was Eshamy Bay), PWS SW-10 Bay of Isles (was Bay of Isle West) and PWS SW-11, not in use at this time (was Bay of Isle South).
• A meeting summary file has been added to the November 12, 2003 PWS GRS Tactics Committee meeting announcement on the Prince William Sound Workgroup page.

Updates: December 15, 2003

• A new Southeastern Cook Inlet homepage and Workgroup page have been added to the Cook Inlet Subarea section of the website. The homepage includes a map and list of the initial site selections for GRS development but there are no draft GRS yet available for download.
• A tentative February 24, 2004 SECI GRS Workgroup meeting announcement has been added to the Southeastern Cook Inlet Workgroup page.

Updates: November 24, 2003

• A typo on the Southwestern Cook Inlet pages whereby SW-03 Akumwarvik Bay was misspelled "Akumwarnik" has been corrected. The name of the downloadable file for that GRS was correctly spelled cisw03akumwarvikbay.pdf and has not been changed.
• A downloadable copy of the meeting agenda for the December 2, 2003 SWCI GRS Tactics Committee Meeting has been added to the Southwestern Cook Inlet Workgroup page.

• The GRS sites list and site numbering for Southwestern Cook Inlet have been changed, with changes reflected in a new map on the webpage and in the download version. New draft GRS for all sites in this revision are available for download.
