USACE Nationwide Permit 20: Oil Spill Recovery Conditions
USCG Local Notice to Mariners
Oil spill response activities that impact navigable waterways may require the issuance of a Local Notice to Mariners (LNM). The LNM disseminates information concerning aids to navigation, hazards to navigation, and other information of interest to mariners in US waters. Information needed includes: reason for need for the broadcast; reason why it is needed; waterway affected; expected duration of operation; who do mariners contact to coordinate traffic schemes. To initiate an LNM in Alaska, contact the 17th Coast Guard District Command Center at (907) 463-2025.

USDOT/FAA Notice to Airman Request
This is not a required form, but a request for the issuance of a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR). Instructions are included in the form. Contact the Anchorage Center for Approval for more information: Keith Lindsay 907-269-1103.
