Alaska Coastal Management Program, Coastal Project Questionnaire
In most cases, ACMP authorization is not needed activities that occur during the initial emergency response phase, but may be needed for project work. The ACMP program is notified of spill response activities through the Army Corps of Engineer.
The Coastal Project Questionnaire is only required if response activities included dredging, fill placement, equipment operation on shore or in critical habitat areas, placement of scientific measuring devices, or other such activities. If there is any question as to whether or not an ACMP Review is required for oil spill cleanup efforts, a CPQ may be submitted to ADNR-OPMP. If there is no review need, the agency will issue a "No ACMP Review Required" letter. |
