Course Two: Small Treated Water System Course
CEUs: 1.5 (DEC)
Format: Correspondence
The Small Treated Water System Course is designed for operators of small treated water systems. A small treated water system is one that serves less than 500 people, less than 100 service connections, and adds one chemical to the water. The course is based on the Operator's Guide to Small Treated Public Water Systems in Alaska. Click here to find out if the Small Treated Water System Course is the right course for you.
The Small Treated Course is divided into ten chapters. After reading each chapter you will be tested on your knowledge of the materials covered by completing an exam. You must receive an overall score of 85% or better in order to pass the course.
The Small Treated Course contains all of the information found in the Small Untreated course. While the Small Treated course is worth 1.5 CEUs, 1.0 of those CEUs are considered a repeat of the Small Untreated course. If you've already taken the Small Untreated course, you may only receive 0.5 additional CEUs for completing the Small Treated Course.
